Our Kea and Kaka systems use UV and colour-stabilised high-density polyethylene (HDPE) gutter mesh designed to help keep larger leaf debris out while allowing rainwater through into the gutter.

Unlike metal mesh, HDPE does not react with roofing materials or cause corrosion. Our mesh is also BPA free, making it suitable for homes that harvest rainwater.

Our mesh systems have been designed for 100% rainwater collection. By keeping larger debris above the gutter while allowing water to pass through, fine dirt and dust that does make its way through the mesh can be flushed towards the downpipes rather than accumulating beneath layers of leaves.

This is particularly important because some mesh products can cause water to sheet across the surface during heavy rain rather than directing it effectively into the gutter.

Professional Gutter Guard Installation

Even quality gutter mesh needs to be installed correctly to perform as intended.

Our professional installation service takes into account the roof material, roof profile, pitch, gutter position and other property-specific factors.

Depending on the roof, the mesh can be installed over long-run roofing or beneath tiles and is secured along the outside edge of the gutter using colour steel or copper trim. Long-run roof installations can then be secured using high-tensile saddle clips or fixed according to the roof profile.
